Debaters must not have reached their 16th birthday on the date of 18 March 2019. 

Team China BP accepts debaters who originate from or live in the Greater China region, including the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macao. Individuals must possess Chinese nationality. Exceptions apply for those whom have lost their nationality but can confirm that their parents hold proof of their Chinese identity.

Regular travel will be expected in order to facilitate preparatory training and attendance to the championship weekend itself.
